Care for your new piercing is pretty simple and every artist will have slightly different advice.
The goal is simple – speed up healing and prevent infection. For our recommended process, see our tips below.

The Lucky Squid - Belly, Nipple, Ear, Eyebrow Healing Instructions:

Approximate healing time, 8-16 weeks.

You can expect a clear or white fluid to be coming out of the holes of your piercing (just a natural part of healing); this fluid will harden and become a crusty buildup on the jewellery and holes.

Soak piercing in a warm salt water solution to soften up solid buildup for easier removal.

Keep lotions, makeup, hair products etc. away from the piercing until healed.

Avoid rubbing alcohol, peroxide, ointments, and any other chemical cleaners.

You may take ibuprofen for the first few days if you choose to aid in the reduction of swelling.

Keep tight clothing away from the area and try to avoid contact with the piercing for faster healing.
